Please join us for our bi-monthly meeting to be held at Down to Earth Pottery Studio in Flagler Beach, located at 805 N. Oceanshore Blvd, Flagler Beach, FL., 32136. The web address is: potteryflaglerbeach.com. When you see this studio, you'll be jealous of the view!

An example of one of her smudge fired pots will be provided. This is DEMO only, no need to bring bisqued pieces.

Our meeting will kick off with the potluck for the first half hour or so allowing time for sign-in, nametags, raffle tickets, and socializing. Following the potluck, we will have our general meeting. Please bring ideas and suggestions for discussion.

We will also have our Cool Tool raffle for an awesome pottery related item. This raffle is free and always a member favorite.

Our lending library will be available for members to "check out" resources for review and home use between meetings. If you have suggestions for items to be added to the member library, please don't hesitate to make that suggestion.

Consider inviting a friend to the meeting to share in the educational experience and cultivate the love of all things clay.

We look forward to seeing you all at the meeting. Please let us know if you have any ideas for workshops, demos, gallery visits, field trips...anything! We want this organization to meet your needs.

Clay Network General Meeting on Sunday, November 12, 2017 2p-5p

Hello All!

The wait is over and our final meeting of 2017 is fast approaching.  We look forward to seeing you all and sharing in the love of clay. This promises to be a busy gathering as we missed September due to Hurricane Irma. Below you will find information regarding the upcoming meeting.

Please join us for our bi-monthly meeting to be held at Atlantic Beach Pottery Supply in Jacksonville, FL.  Directions to Atlantic Beach Pottery Supply (@AtlanticBeachPottery) are easily accessed via Google Maps, Waze, and Navigation; apps that can be downloaded to a mobile device.

We would like to thank Kathy Goldstein, Owner/Operator of Atlantic Beach Pottery Supply, for her ongoing, generous support of our group and for sponsoring the meeting at her place of business on what would normally be her day off!

Our meeting will kick off with the ever popular gourmet potluck "Meet and Eat" social hour @ 2pm. We'll try to keep it to about a half hour or so. This gives everyone a chance to get settled, grab a bite, and socialize a bit. Please consider bringing a dish and a friend to share!

Kathy Goldstein will be demonstrating the vertical slab roller, as well as various new stamps and tools that will assist the potter with clay embellishment, altering, and decoration.  All demo items will be available for purchase as the warehouse will be open for business especially for Clay Network members that day.  Kathy is a very accomplished potter and business owner with a scope of knowledge that many of us rely on as customers.  We are grateful to her for sharing her expertise with the group.

We will also have our Cool Tool raffle for an awesome pottery related item.

Our Lending Library will be available for members to "check out" resources for review and home use between meetings.  We would like to collect outstanding items to assess the contents and possibly add new titles.  If there is a resource that you think we should consider, just bring this up at the meeting and we can discuss.

We will be voting to select the board members for 2018.  The Nominating Committee will present nominees during the general meeting.  If you would like to be considered for a board position, please step up.  We need fresh talent and members who would be willing to assist in moving our group forward.

Consider inviting a friend to the meeting to share in the educational experience and cultivate the love of all things clay.

Clay Network has enjoyed a wonderful year of education and camaraderie and next year will surely bring more of the same. Please let us know if you have any ideas for workshops, demos, gallery visits, field trips...anything! We want this organization to meet your needs.  We have exciting workshops coming up and look forward to the coming year.

Best Regards,

Clay Network
