Clay Network Bi-Monthly Meeting: November 12, 2017 from 2p-5p

Please join us for our bi-monthly Clay Network Meeting. The board is still working on the details of this meeting, so stay tuned for the location and specifics regarding this meeting.

As always, the meeting will consist of a potluck (always fantastic!), general meeting, raffle, and usually a demonstration. We may also suggest a Holiday Exchange at either this meeting or the January meeting. Again, stay tuned.

**If you, as a member, are interesting in hosting our meeting, please message us here on Facebook or email**

Suggestions for topics, demos, roadtrips...anything clay related is welcomed with open arms!!

See you at the meeting,

Cindy Ward

Clay Network Bi-Monthly Meeting, Sunday, September 10, 2017 2p-5p

Please join us for our bi-monthly meeting to be held at Down to Earth Pottery Studio in Flagler Beach, located at 805 N. Oceanshore Blvd, Flagler Beach, FL., 32136. The web address is: When you see this studio, you'll be jealous of the view!

We would like to thank Heather Wales, Owner/Operator of Down to Earth Pottery for her gracious support and for providing the demo to our group as well. Following the brief general meeting, Heather will be demonstrating her technique and steps for smudge firing. It will include her process for making/applying Terra sigilatta and firing (bisqued in advance) several pieces in her outdoor fire pit.
An example of one of her smudge fired pots will be provided. This is DEMO only, no need to bring bisqued pieces.

Our meeting will kick off with the potluck for the first half hour or so allowing time for sign-in, nametags, raffle tickets, and socializing. Following the potluck, we will have our general meeting. Please bring ideas and suggestions for discussion.

We will also have our Cool Tool raffle for an awesome pottery related item. This raffle is free and always a member favorite.

Our lending library will be available for members to "check out" resources for review and home use between meetings. If you have suggestions for items to be added to the member library, please don't hesitate to make that suggestion.

Consider inviting a friend to the meeting to share in the educational experience and cultivate the love of all things clay.

We look forward to seeing you all at the meeting. Please let us know if you have any ideas for workshops, demos, gallery visits, field trips...anything! We want this organization to meet your needs.

Best Regards,

Cindy Ward
